Jane and Al certainly know how to pick through the local attractions and find great venues for the group to wander through, dine
at and enjoy. It was just so this time out with the Boundary Ranch, nicely left standing tall after the G-8 Leaders, (as they are
called), blew through in June. A fire was waiting and steaks soon went on the bar bee for a fine western luncheon.
Folks mingled and waited for stragglers, then finally went ahead with lunch which was followed by a hay ride around the
property. Out back they keep bison just to perk things up for the riding set, I guess. Al, here is taking a close up look at the Big
Boy of the herd.
Group photographs are essential at things like this and there certainly was no shortage of photographers. It was kind of fun watching
everyone scramble around to get it all just right.
In the evening, everyone returned to town to go
over to Del's place for a BBQ. The kids loved
the incredible play room and the adults sat
around and visited, the dining room table being
the favorite spot. The evening included birthday
celebrations for Mathew with a glowing cake
being brought out to mark his day.
